     Century Construction Services, LLC brings nearly 50 years of construction expertise to Rapid City and beyond. Our roots go back to 1965 when the Wieseler family completed early projects like the First Federal Building and the original Safeway store—one of our first design-build-lease projects. This innovative approach allowed tenants to move into custom-built spaces without the upfront costs of ownership, and it remains at the heart of what we do today.

     Over the decades, our team has completed more than 150 million square feet of building space—delivering medical facilities, professional offices, retail centers, industrial buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and hospitality projects. Our portfolio includes work for Safeway Stores, General Electric, the University of South Dakota Medical Center, the FBI, Nash Finch, Dakota Bank, Office Depot, Johnstone Supply, and multiple Ramada Hotels and Resort Waterparks across South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska.

     Century Construction Services is a family-owned and operated company led by Don Wieseler and his son, Michael Wieseler. Michael joined the business in 1994, carrying forward a tradition of excellence, innovation, and customer-focused project delivery. Together, they bring decades of experience and a commitment to quality craftsmanship to every project. We specialize in design-build-lease construction, offering turnkey solutions that streamline the entire process—from concept and design to construction and long-term leasing—so our clients can focus on growing their businesses.

     In addition to our design-build-lease expertise, we also provide sitework excavation and grading using state-of-the-art GPS-equipped machinery for precision subgrade and drainage work.
